As expected, Kingdom Come producers South Vineyard again sought – and were granted – another stay of crucifixion in Wellington’s High Court today.

Last December, the company avoided bankruptcy by promising to find $100M by March to complete the film. In March the court gave it a “final adjournment” until 1 June. On 1 June, judgement day proved to less “final” than might have been expected, with producers given until today to find $1M to partially pay off creditors.
