For the small (if perfectly formed) Kiwi contingent at XML Melbourne, there seemed to be a lot of Australians as speakers and mentors (five in all) and only one Kiwi – Pixeco’s James Franklin. But, to give them their due, they were playing at home and (after a bit of population scaling) not really over-represented, just loud.

Hoodlum’s Nathan Mayfield, The Feds’ Lisa Gray, Universe Creation’s Christy Dena, games developer Morgan Jaffit and Radical Love’s Jarod Green offered differing perspectives, differing experiences in the transmedia world and only one dig at their trans-Tasman neighbours.
