On Saturday evening in Busan, Korea, Film Auckland signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Busan Film Commission. Following the 2008 co-production treaty with South Korea, the MOU outlines a wish for the cities to co-operate in developing greater co-operation and interaction between the two cities with respect to their film-making and -hosting aspirations.

For Film Auckland, Michael Brook signed the document, a few hours after Auckland saw Len Brown elected as the inaugural mayor of the newly-minted supercity. The BFC’s Oh Seok-geun signed for the home team.
