Double win and double takes at the AACTAs

Not one, but two, films took the Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts Awards, or AACTAs, for Best Feature Film this year. Russell Crowe’s directing debut with the WWII drama, The Water Diviner, and Jennifer Kent’s haunting horror drama, The Babadook, managed to neatly contain the industry’s love of both mainstream and arthouse success.
