Milt Barlow’s China Lion has closed and announced a number of distribution deals for the US, Australia and NZ at the American Film Market. Four titles were announced from deals, some of which were done in advance. All are for day and date release.

The Chinese remake of What Women Want came from Poly Bona-CJ Entertainment, which co-own international rights with HK-based Distribution Workshop. The remake is written and directed by Chen Daming and travelled under the more prosaic working title I Know a Woman’s Heart until post. It features Andy Lau (Infernal Affairs, House of Flying Daggers) in the Mel Gibson role.
