Short Film Corner offers filmmakers the chance to put their wares in front of buyers during the world’s A-est of A-list festivals. The competition for buyer and programmer attention is steep. Last year, 1,728 films were registered. This year’s online catalogue runs well over 200 pages. Finding the NZ films is hard.

The Film Commission has placed four shorts in the catalogue this year: Sam Peacocke’s Manurewa; Jane Shearer’s Bird; Alan Dickson’s Preferably Blue; and Tammy Davis’ Ebony Society.
