Keywords Studios’ Head of Transformation Jon Gibson has claimed that while many game studios are rapidly adopting new AI-powered tools for game development, just a handful are actually useful and provide solutions to real problems.
Speaking to The Game Business, Gibson revealed that Keywords Studios has tested around 500 AI game development tools to help speed up its workflow. The studio typically works in a support capacity, and has provided additional development for major games like Batman: Arkham Shadow, Still Wakes the Deep and Goat Simulator 3.
