PlayStation has announced its free monthly games for March 2026, with a handful of entirely different experiences available for all Premium, Deluxe, Extra and Essential subscribers to download and keep.
It’s a pretty stacked month overall, with players able to claim an ultra-cool, ultra-slimy indie adventure, a monster-hunting journey, a sports sim and a lush, frequently underrated MMORPG.
PS Plus March games – quick links
PS Plus: PGA Tour 2K25
The first free game available for PS Plus subscribers to download and claim this month is PGA Tour 2K25. This is a digital adaptation of the famous golf series that allows you to rise up the ranks of golfing, grabbing various championships – The PGA Championship, The US Open and The Open Championship among them – as you perfect your swings.
If you’ve ever played a 2K Sports title before, you’ll know what to expect here: various layered modes, options to play golf and manage players, and more.
PS Plus: Monster Hunter Rise
The next free game is Monster Hunter Rise, which tasks you with hunting down various monsters across missions with tough parameters. You’ll chart an overarching story inspired by Japanese myth in this game, but the primary focus is on the art of combat – swinging big swords and finding the right technique to take down towering beasts.
For those who enjoy multiplayer gaming, Monster Hunter Rise presents the option to travel in squads of up to four, with ‘smart difficulty scaling’ allowing for the experience to feel tense at all times.
PS Plus: Slime Rancher 2
The third game available for PS Plus subscribers this month is Slime Rancher 2. This sequel is all about discovering and capturing slimes so you can treat them to a cosy life on the range, and also put them to work in various capacities. If you love management games, or even cosy farming sims, you’ll find plenty to love in this brightly-coloured sim.
PS Plus: The Elder Scrolls Online Collection Gold Road
The final game of the lot, and arguably the headliner, is The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road. This is a massive release that brings together all the big expansions of The Elder Scrolls Online, allowing you to journey through the lands of Morrowind, Oblivion, (parts of) Skyrim, and beyond.
What works best about The Elder Scrolls Online, and what keeps the ScreenHub team hooked, is that you don’t really need to play this title as an MMORPG. You can pretty much experience everything solo, and take your time doing so. It’s a fantastic experience for those who lack the time to indulge in an MMO long-term, but still want the vibe of gameplay.
As announced, all four of these games will be available to download and claim from 3 March. They will remain tied to a PlayStation account forever, although they are only playable while a PS Plus subscription (on any tier) is active.

The Elder Scrolls Online has been a constant presence in my video game adventures over the last decade. I’m not currently an active player. That would require time I don’t have, and any streak would be constantly broken by the arrival of new games to play and review. But I have dived deeply into each new content expansion, to partake in my absolute favourite activities: wandering around, collecting quests I’ll complete at a snail’s pace, admiring the scenery, and making friends.
