The PAX Aus 2026 show floor will be stacked with new and upcoming video games to play, including some of the most anticipated games of 2026 and beyond.
As revealed by the PAX Aus team, a host of major publishers and developers are on board for the annual show, bringing new looks at titles including Final Fantasy 7 Revelation, Stranger Than Heaven and Total War: Warhammer 40,000.

Square Enix, Ubisoft, Sega and more bring their best to PAX Aus 2026
As shared, Sega is bringing four major titles to PAX Aus 2026: Stranger Than Heaven, Alien: Isolation 2, Total War: Warhammer 40,000 and Persona 4 Revival. All four will be playable at a dedicated booth on the show floor, giving Australian players a first hands-on after major showcases overseas.
Activision will also be showcasing, in a booth spotlighting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the next game from Infinity Ward. A playable demo will feature a ‘selection’ from the game’s multiplayer mode, giving a first taste ahead of the game’s launch for PC and consoles on 23 October.
Square Enix is another major studio set to showcase at PAX Aus 2026, bringing Final Fantasy XIV for Nintendo Switch 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Revelation. At this stage, it’s not clear if Revelation will be playable as Square Enix has only confirmed a ‘special look’ that will let fans ‘deep dive’ into what the game has in store.
In any case, those keen to get deeper with the Final Fantasy franchise will also be able to tune into a showcase panel spotlighting Final Fantasy XIV‘s development, while Localisation Director Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and Global Community Producer Toshio ‘Foxclon’ Murouchi attempt a ‘hot sauce’ challenge.
Ubisoft also has a raft of games to showcase, including Just Dance: Decade of Hits, Rayman Legends Retold and Heroes of Might & Magic 3 Remake. In addition, the studio is hosting a special panel with the Back Pocket team, wrestler Austin Creed and comedian John Robertson, as well as hosting the Ubisoft Community & Esports Stage with various activities.

Over in the PAX Aus Indie Showcase and PAX Rising area, those keen to play new Australian and New Zealand-made games will find plenty to discover. There’s over 90 games and their development teams on the show floor this year, so there should be plenty of opportunities to find your next favourite indie game.

The PAX Aus Indie Showcase winners this year include Key Fairy, Cozy Game Restoration, Finch & Archie, The Last Exterminator, Mission Delta and A Real Life Party.
Highlights of the PAX Rising area include Alanamation and Grey Cult, BraveCart (a returning favourite), Cloudlings, Dungeons and Dining Tables, Enter the Chronosphere, Moonbrella, Penguin Colony, Robowild, The Isle of Lost Bees, Silver Lake National Park, The Last Werewolf and Atlanta TD.
