The latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase was packed with new trailers for upcoming Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games, with plenty of anticipated titles getting launch dates, and other surprises in the mix.
We got news of fresh ports and Switch 2 Edition updates for recently-released games, as well as some more recent classics – Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster. We also got word of surprise new sequels, fresh adventures, and more.

Orbitals is a new co-op adventure for two players
Orbitals kicked off the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, with a new trailer revealing more about its co-op action gameplay. This is an adventure specifically for two players, that invites you to chart deep space, using various tools to overcome an array of challenges.
Orbitals launches for Nintendo Switch 2 in Winter 2026.
Paranormasight is getting a sequel: The Mermaid’s Curse
Paranormasight: The Mermaid’s Curse was announced during the show, with a new trailer confirming this follows an entirely new mystery. You play as a young fisherman who encounters a ghostly version of himself, kicking off a mystery that eventually involves a young woman with no memory, as well as other strange characters.
This game launches for Nintendo Switch on 19 February.
Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters will bring dramatic soccer action to Nintendo Switch
Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters was also announced during the Partner Showcase, with a new trailer showing off big, bright soccer gameplay. Like other titles in the franchise, this game transforms soccer into combat, with dramatic anime style lending a real sense of dynamism to matches.
This game launches for Nintendo Switch in 2026.
Tokyo Scramble follows a young woman attempting to escape dinosaur beasts
Tokyo Scramble was announced during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. This is a game that follows a young woman who ends up in an underground realm populated by ‘Zino’ dinosaur beasts. You have no combat skills in this adventure, so you need to rely on stealth and quick-thinking to survive.
Tokyo Scramble launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on 11 February.
Valheim is coming to Nintendo Switch 2
Popular crafting survival game Valheim is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. Jump in for rounds of crafting, gathering materials, and attempting to survive a hostile world.

Hollow Knight now has a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, thanks to a surprise drop during the latest Nintendo Direct. Expect improved frame rates and enhanced graphics.
eFootball Kick-Off! is coming to Nintendo Switch 2
eFootball Kick-Off! is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, inviting players to control an array of popular, real-life soccer players in matches. As announced, this game launches in Winter 2026.
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales launches in June 2026
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales officially launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on 18 June. When this latest Square Enix title releases, you can expect to be enthralled in a sweeping high fantasy adventure, charting multiple eras.
Super Bomberman Collection ports classic Bomberman games
Super Bomberman Collection is now available for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. This new retro game bundle includes an array of classic Bomberman games, so you can relive the early adventures of the titular hero.
The game is available digitally now, and will launch in physical format in August 2026.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2026
Following in the footsteps of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, the blockbuster Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. As announced, this next chapter will be available on 3 June.
Pragmata launches for Nintendo Switch 2 in April 2026
Capcom’s sci-fi adventure Pragmata got a new trailer during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, revealing more about the game’s combat, and its dual protagonists, Hugh and Diana. The new trailer ended on confirmation that the game arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on 24 April.
Turok: Origins pits you against roaming dinosaur creatures
Turok: Origins is a new game in the Turok series that once again tasks you with taking down roaming dinosaurs and dinosaur-like beasts. In this particular entry you can travel solo or alone, charting strange natural worlds in your quest to become a powerful hunter. As confirmed during the latest Nintendo Direct, Turok: Origins launches for Nintendo Switch 2 in Spring 2026.
Kyoto Xanadu is an anime Metroidvania that lets you fight monsters
Kyoto Xanadu was revealed during the Nintendo Direct, with a trailer showing off Metroidvania-like side-scrolling action, as players take on magical beasts. In this title, you are a young warrior who joins a special school for fighters, and must take time learning, as well as getting to know classmates. This game launches for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in Winter 2026.
Digimon Story Time Stranger is coming to Nintendo Switch in July 2026
As confirmed during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, Digimon Story Time Stranger is officially coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on 10 July. If you didn’t play this game on PC or consoles at launch, it’s well worth checking out in handheld form.
This news was followed by a trailer for Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, a high fantasy adventure where you corral warriors in fights against towering beasts. This game launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on 9 July.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection got a new trailer
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection got a new trailer during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. This revealed more of its monster battles, and the bright, colourful world players will be able to explore. As previously announced, this game launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on 13 March. A demo is now available.
Arcade Archives expands, Console Archives announced
Hamster Corporation’s Arcade Archives collection is set to expand shortly, with classic title Rave Racer arriving on 26 February. Following this, Console Archives was announced and launched. The first games to join this collection are Cool Boarders and Ninja Gaiden 2: The Dark Sword of Chaos. Both are available now.
Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase: Highlight reel
The big highlight reel for the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase revealed an array of new titles coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in future, including:
- Scott Pilgrim EX, coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on 3 March.
- Another Eden Begins, coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in Winter 2026.
- Reanimal, coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on 13 February.
- WWE 2K26, coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on 13 March.
- Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown, coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on 18 February.
- Disney Dreamlight Valley Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, coming on 25 March.
- PGA Tour 2K25, coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on 6 February.
- Culdcept BEGINS, coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on 16 July.
- Goat Simulator 3, coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on 1 April.
- Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on 18 March.

Following this, Resident Evil Requiem got a new trailer spotlighting the dual journeys of protagonists Grace Ashcroft (scared, relatively powerless) and Leon S. Kennedy (cool, powerful). This title launches for Nintendo Switch 2 on 27 February.
Bethesda brings Fallout, Oblivion, Indiana Jones to Nintendo Switch 2
The final reveal for the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase was multi-part, as Bethesda confirmed it’s bringing multiple games to Nintendo Switch 2 in future. We already knew about Indiana Jones and the Great Circle – which is now confirmed to launch on 12 May – but Bethesda additionally confirmed:
- Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on 24 February.
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered launches on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
