LudoNarraCon 2026, the annual festival spotlighting narrative video games, will officially feature a vast selection of local Australian and international games across its week of celebration.

From 8-12 October, audiences worldwide will be able to head to Steam to discover new demos for upcoming games, discounts for newly-released titles and various developer talks revealing more about the art of narrative game development.

There’ll be over 50 games to explore during LudoNarraCon 2026, with plenty of potent, under-the-radar titles to learn more about, as well as some long-in-development favourites to watch.

As revealed, there’s plenty of Australian-made games in the list of LudoNarraCon 2026 highlights.

That includes The Dungeon Experience from Bone Assembly and Janet DeMornay Is A Slumlord (and a witch) from Fuzzy Ghost, both of which will receive new demos with fresh content. The Telwynium from Dave Lloyd (The Drifter) will also be featured, alongside Penguin Colony from Origame Digital.

Beyond these titles, you’ll also be able to experience demos and spotlights for: Perfect Tides: Station to Station, Wander Stars, Wax Heads, Neverway, Desktop Explorer, I Shall Name The Dead, lily’s world XD, Moves of the Diamond Hand, Opus: Prism Peak, Queen’s Domain, Red Kiss, Beastfolk Barber, Schrodinger’s Call, Apple Crumble and About Fishing.

We also want to highlight Escape the Baby Alarm, a compelling title that treads relatively uncharted ground for the world of games: it focusses on the anxieties of motherhood, and how a baby alarm may become haunting when stress and worry is all you know.

There’s plenty of other games to explore during LudoNarraCon 2026, with its curated selection lending itself well to deep dives into demos and developer talks. There’s a lot you can learn from narrative games, and this online festival is always a lovely celebration of the art.
