The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary concerts taking place in Sydney and Melbourne in 2027 are soon to be on sale, with the first presale details released by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

These events are designed to celebrate the history and legacy of the Legend of Zelda franchise, with local orchestras performing tracks from across the game series. They’re a celebration of a whopping 40 years of delivering stories, with ‘nostalgic tunes and modern melodies’ set to be performed by some of Australia’s most accomplished musicians.

The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Concert: Sydney presale details

The Sydney Symphony Orchestra will be performing its version of the Legend of Zelda concert over three sessions, taking place between 9-10 July (two nights, one matinee performance) at the Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House at Bennelong Point.

Presale opens soon, and you can opt in for access via the orchestra website. General tickets will go on sale from 15 October at 12:00 pm AEDT.

The Sydney leg already has official prices listed for those looking to budget. Standard D-range tickets are $135, and prices go up to $299 for premium access.

Whether premium simply means front row or additional extras has not been confirmed yet.

The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Concert: Melbourne presale details

The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will be performing its version of the Legend of Zelda concert over three nights and four sessions, from 13-16 May at Hamer Hall in Southbank.

A presale waitlist is now live, although an exact on-sale date has not been confirmed.

Vooks reports a date briefly went live – 7 October at 10:00 am AEDT – before it was taken down, but at this stage it’s unclear whether that was a too-early announcement or a mistake.

In any case, the presale waitlist should serve to notify keen attendees of when tickets will go live, ensuring there’s a chance to grab them before the general on-sale date.

Given the popularity of other similar concert series, and considering the popularity of the Legend of Zelda franchise, we do expect these shows will be popular to the point of selling out quickly.

Those wishing to experience this nostalgic journey through The Legend of Zelda should consider monitoring the MSO and SSO websites as tickets enter presale and general release.

The Legend of Zelda: 40th Anniversary Concert tours Sydney and Melbourne from May 2027.
