The Indie Game Awards have come and gone for another year, with this year’s iteration celebrating an array of brilliant, innovative, and creative titles from around the world. In addition to all the usual categories, this year’s show also included a range of dedicated location-based awards, including one for the Australia and New Zealand region.
After a breakout year, the well-deserving winner of this category was Powerhoof’s The Drifter, an excellent point-and-click adventure game that brims with noir style and charm.
