In a major first, Netflix has partnered with Rockstar Games to reveal a brand new extended look trailer for upcoming blockbuster game, GTA 6.
The ‘extended look’ feature will debut first on Netflix on 28 August, and will be exclusive to the streaming platform for six hours before it also releases on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel, and the official GTA 6 website.
In essence, it’s a way for Netflix to gain engagement through the biggest upcoming game of the calendar year, with encouragement for keen players to tune in via Netflix or to consider subscribing to be amongst the first to see the extended look as it premieres.

An ‘extended look’ in the world of gaming typically relates to a long-form trailer of the order of 10-15 minutes, going in-depth on new gameplay features, game development, story, or other elements. Based on wording, we expect this will be a trailer that combines cinematics revealed over the last year with deeper insights into what players should expect.
