Teamwork makes the dream work
As seen in the new trailer, and in prior announcements, Big Walk is a game all about friendship. Described as a ‘cooperative walker-talker’, it invites players into a lush natural world filled with all sorts of puzzles that require teamwork to complete.
Each player will control a tiny little person with a limited skill set. You can use your voice to coordinate for puzzle solving. You can grab and kick things. You can jump. You can also use a variety of tools to help you complete challenges, see into the distance, signal to far distant friends, or make loud noises as necessary.
As shared by developer House House, this is a ‘wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles and discoveries’. The key here is working alongside your friends and travelling with an open mind, ready to explore and tackle each little puzzle as it arrives.
With its goofy characters and funny moments of interactivity, Big Walk is shaping up to be a lovely adventure, and one that feels perfect for a slow-moving afternoon.

House House builds on its legacy
Of course, another reason to keep this game on your radar is that it comes from the studio behind Untitled Goose Game, released in 2019 and now one of Australia’s most award-winning and globally-celebrated games.
Its playful nature and cute puzzles endeared itself to a global audience, with the game selling over one million copies in the three months after its release.
It went on to become critically acclaimed and highly awarded, taking home the DICE Game of the Year award and the AGDAs Game of the Year Award, amongst many other accolades.

While Big Walk is a very different game, it appears to maintain the light-hearted, slapstick style of Untitled Goose Game, and promises an experience that should be just as warm, silly and delightful.
After several years of waiting for more news, we now know Big Walk game will launch on 4 August, so it’s time to mark your calendars – and to make your friends mark their calendars, too. Big Walk will require all hands on deck, so it’s best to get a crew on board for your upcoming adventure.
Big Walk launches for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2 on 4 August.
