After claiming that he was investigating new models of public-private partnership in screen production, Screen Queensland’s CEO Bryan Lowe is presiding over a rethink of its programs which are decidedly conventional. To the relief of the local sector.

There has been significant concern as Screen Queensland disappeared into a period of introversion while it developed new programs with a new board, a new CEO, and a new head of culture. But key local players responded well at the Wednesday Unveiling, and are putting some additional proposals, to which Screen Queensland is receptive. Bryan Lowe made a point of emphasising that the decision map is based on the consultation process triggered by the forum.
