MIPTV: Aussies win in Cannes, while SBS wins in Las Vegas

Hatch Entertainment and Alex Alexander have both picked up awards at MIPTV in Cannes, while Once Upon a Time in Cabramatta has won in New York for SBS, Fredbird Entertainment and Northern Pictures.

Three-part documentary series Once Upon a Time in Cabramatta, a co-production between Fredbird Entertainment and Northern Pictures, collected two major prizes: the United Nations Department of Public Information Gold Award and a Silver World Medal, both in the Documentary/Information Program category, at the New York Festivals International Television & Film Awards.
