Endemol President Tim Hincks explained to ScreenHub in Cannes how a small market for formats like Australia still plays a vital role in exporting content to the British and American markets. The company is also back in the mergers and acquisitions arena, eyeing production companies.

“There is a tradition of formats traveling from Australia,” Endemol Group President, Tim Hincks told ScreenHub at MIPTV. Hinting on upcoming sales deal announcements, he said, “Actually, we have The Block which is traveling to some interesting places which we will be announcing soon. It’s not our own production, though.” He also mentioned My Kitchen Rulesand My Resturant Rules as “Aussie reality series that have international appeal.
