At a Canberra press conference Wednesday afternoon, Senator Stephen Connelly broke his public silence to describe the government’s strategy to deal with the Convergence Review and the Finkelstein Report.

He began by stating a rock solid commitment to media diversity, and describing the public’s disquiet about the standards of the media.
