ABC TV and Opera Australia are looking for Australia’s next singing star – in opera. Head of Factual Entertainment at ABC TV, Denise Eriksen, says Operatunity Oz is a nation-wide search for a special voice that can be trained to a high performance level.

“This is an ‘operatunity’ to sing with the best in the Sydney Opera House. We want to change someone’s life and give him or her a chance to sing in an Opera Australia production,” she says.
Chief Executive, Opera Australia, Adrian Collette says Operatunity Oz is a wonderful chance to share with everyone the extraordinary power of opera.
