The WA Film and Television Institute has stitched together interesting deals to spirit a bunch of urban filmmakers to regional centres and provide 5-day introductory filmmaking workshops and screenings. Kino-Pravda for Hammersley Iron.

“The Lawson St Youth Centre and Youth Involvement Council in South Hedland will be hosting one leg of a statewide regional filmmaking tour. Local youth will be creating a series of short films over a weeklong period that will conclude with a free community screening.
