The Australian Screen Directors Association invites you and your guest to the third annual ASDA Awards on Monday, 31 May.

The inaugural ASDA Awards were held in November 2001 with American director Sydney Pollack as international guest speaker. The speaker for last year’s Awards was Wim Wenders with Fred Schepisi the major honoree. The recipient of the inaugural Outstanding Achievement Award was Peter Weir, who was unable to attend the ceremony because he was filming Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World, which received 10 Oscar nominations in the 2004 Academy Awards.
