The real winners are Bunya Productions. The ten nominations for Sweet Country are predictable, though we miss Bryan Brown, but the eleven for the series of Mystery Road is impressive. No less than five of those are for the actors – Aaron Pedersen, Judy Davis, Wayne Blair, Deborah Mailman and Tasma Walton. This is not just dominance, but dominance for Indigenous storytelling as well.
