Film Victoria has a solid bunch of awards which celebrate achievement, point to heroes and bring the community together, all part of encouraging a collective identity. 

This time round, the list celebrates people who have defined their identity very strongly, kept at it until they have mastered its nuances, and become symbols of their particular approach.
