North Queensland Production Incentive

Screen Queensland’s North Queensland Production Incentive attracts footloose* productions to North Queensland with funding of up to $300,000 allowing producers to take advantage of the diverse and unique locations that fill the region.

The incentive supports screen production in the North Queensland region, securing job and training opportunities for local above and below-the-line practitioners while increasing regional economic expenditure and stimulating wider business and tourism benefits for regional communities.

*A project is considered footloose if there is evidence of genuine interstate or international production destination alternatives.
