Get sprouting because the 2025 Very Short Film Festival (VSFF) is open for entries with ‘seed’ as the signature item. The festival is inviting bite-sized films of two to five minute length for a deadline of 1 April 2025.

Now in its fifth year, the Tasmania-hatched but Australia-wide Very Short Film Festival celebrates contemporary storytelling in the short film form. It champions diverse voices and welcomes entries from Australian creators of all backgrounds and experience levels, whether they’re using phones or ‘old fashioned’ cameras to make the work.
