The Qantas Film & TV Craft Awards luncheon was held at the Civic in Auckland today. The event, in its second year, was very well attended, so well in fact we had to beg to get in.

The Qantas Film & TV Craft Awards luncheon was held at the Civic in Auckland today. The event, in its second year, was very well attended, so well in fact we had to beg to get in.

Lippy Pictures, which led the nominations league table with finalists in 10 categories for , got off to a slow start, missing out on the first three awards it was up for. Happily for them, they picked up in the second half of the proceedings, with David Paul picking up Best Camera Work – Drama/Comedy Programme and Paul Sutorius winning Images & Sound Best Editing – Drama/Comedy Programme.
