What Persia and Latin America has to offer in film and a celebration of ‘the artform of our time’: this week’s program announcements.

From 22 August until 1 September the Persian International Film Festival’s Retrospective Program in Sydney looks back on 50 years of Iranian cinema. Films from 1969 to 2011 will be shown alongside recent releases, to highlight the general themes and storylines that are hallmarks of Iranian cinema.
