MediaWorks launched its grab bag of commissions and acquisitions for 2010 this morning at the ungodly hour of 7.30am.

The network aims for an expansion of C4’s role away from a (predominantly) music channel to a more general channel, possibly moving to HD; a stronger presence for its video-on-demand offer; and building stronger primetime programming off the back of some of this year’s successes.
