I’m watching you: a public exhibition coming to Federation Square will use binoculars to connect cities across the globe.

Bincoulars to… Binoculars from… will be arriving at Melbourne’s Federation Square this month. Created by international artists Varvara Guljajeva and Mar Canet Sola as part of the Connecting Cities Events initiated by the Public Art Lab in Berlin, Melburnians can peer into a set of binoculars and view another city in real timetheir eyes broadcasted on a big screen thousands of miles away. The same will also be happening in other cities: a stranger’s eye will appear on screen in Federation Square as they view Melbourne.
