Air ace’s story to be told in doc

Kiwi air ace and strategist Sir Keith Park who played a major role in winning the Battle of Britain is the subject of a doco to be made by Greenstone Pictures for TVNZ.

New Zealand production company Greenstone Pictures is to make a landmark documentary about air ace Sir Keith Park who – as commander of the Royal Air Force 11 Group Fighter Command – played a major role in winning the Battle of Britain and turning the tide of World War 2.

Funding was confirmed this week by New Zealand On Air. The show will screen on TVONE, and Cass Avery will produce for Greenstone.
