At last the industry has its chance and comes out fighting. Image: the valiant cassowary.

After two years of plodding out the Make it Australian campaign with no more than cliches from politicians, the guilds and SPA have struck paydirt.

Michelle Rowlands was ‘a senior lawyer specialising in competition and regulation in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors and is currently Chair of Screen NSW.’ Now she is the shadow Minister for Communications who will talk about ‘the way forward for Australian and children’s screen content.’ according to the release.
