Job Description
We are seeking a multimedia designer proficient in Adobe Photoshop, with strong retouching skills and experience in file management. This role will be responsible for creating and rolling out marketing creative for Channel 9 and 9Now content. Our ideal candidate will be able to apply artwork across digital mediums as well as have knowledge of current design trends, especially in sports and entertainment. Familiarity with programming languages is really advantageous.
Day to day you will:
- Adapt 9 Creative’s key art assets and extend them to fit required marketing briefs, social media and on-platform key art asset requirements.
- Design creative assets for marketing requirements: outdoor, digital, social
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Take marketing briefs and bring them to life visually in innovative and inspiring ways
- Ad hoc creative projects and briefs
- File management and organisation of internal assets
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- Retouching skills, including etching, and colour effects
- Flair for Typography
- Exceptional Design and layout skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and experience working in a collaborative environment
- Adobe Creative Cloud whiz (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- A keen interest in the latest design trends in the digital and social landscape
- Proven experience in a graphic design role
- Graphic Design Degree or similar formal training in the field
