The animated film for mature audiences follows the story of Grace Pudel, a lonely misfit with an affinity for collecting ornamental snails and a love of books! At a young age, Grace is separated from her fire-breathing twin brother Gilbert and falls into a spiral of anxiety and angst. Despite ongoing hardships, inspiration and hope emerges when she strikes up a friendship with an elderly eccentric woman named Pinky, who is full of grit and lust for life!

Memoir of a Snail premiered at the Annecy International Animation Festival in 2024 winning the prestigious Cristal Award, and since has blitzed film festivals across the globe. Developed over eight years the stylised claymation features a star studded cast including Sarah Snook, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Jacki Weaver, Eric Bana, Magda Szubanski, Tony Armstrong and Nick Cave.
