Flex your emotional muscles this Spring with a series fun films from Studio Ghibli all featuring wonderfully emotive film scores by composer Joe Hisaishi.
Everyone is intelligent in different ways. Some people are good at Maths, some people are good at English, and some people are emotionally intelligent.
Whether our strength is emotional intelligence or not, the good news is that we can hone our skills through practice – and Studio Ghibli films are a great way to do that.
All of the films in this program are produced by Studio Ghibli who have filled them with magic, adventure and lots of fun. And they all feature wonderful music by composer Joe Hisaishi.
Before each screening, we’ll listen to a piece of music from the film and consider what we think the musicians and filmmakers want us to feel. We’ll also take a moment to introduce the concepts of emotional intelligence to younger viewers.
