One year full time – two semesters of 20 weeks each
The Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media is an intensive one-year program designed to build on the foundational skills acquired in the Diploma of Screen and Media, with a focus on preparing students for professional roles in the film industry. The course emphasises the development of advanced technical and creative filmmaking skills across various disciplines, including directing, cinematography, screenwriting, editing, sound design, and production design.Â
You will be able to work collaboratively in a production company environment alongside your classmates, simulating real-world filmmaking experiences.
Throughout their training, students train and gain in experience in multiple film production disciplines including:
- Advanced Production Management
- Advanced Directing for Screen
- Advanced Screenwriting
- Advanced Cinematography
- Advanced Sound Recording, Editing and Mixing
