One of the real problems is Screen Australia. We need to address the whole issue – its been talked about since the AIDC, and on the radar for a year.
They don’t act like they want to positively campaign for independent and groundbreaking documentary, except in the Signature Fund, where there isn’t a broadcaster in place. We need to look at the problem, and find some solution, rather than as one of my member said, whinge about it.
