This Friday at the 44th Annual AWGIE Awards in Sydney, the Australian Writers’ Guild will honour Chris Lilley, Ian David, Denise Morgan and Currency Press for their unique and outstanding contributions to Australian performance writing.
Chris Lilley, the comic genius behind We Can Be Heros, Summer Heights High and Angry Boys will be awarded the Fred Parsons Award for Outstanding Contribution to Australian Comedy.
