ABC investigating an internet broadcast channel on ABC Kids’ Web Site to feature Chinese animated series.
Tim Brooke-Hunt, the head of Children’s at ABC TV, said exploratory discussions were underway with the Managing Director of Great Dreams cartoons, China’s largest animation company which produces more than 20,000 minutes of animation per year.
“I was very impressed at how keen Chinese Producers are to engage internationally and make their programs accessible to the wider world outside China”, he said.
