SET-IQUETTE IS YOUR CRASH COURSE FOR TV ACTING WITH ‘NEIGHBOURS STAR’ KYM VALENTINE

Kym Valentine has been working as an actor on Australian TV since she was 4 years old, with over 1000 episodes of Neighbours under her belt playing Ramsay Street’s beloved Libby Kennedy for 20 years. When it comes to fast turn-around TV, Kym is an undeniable wealth of knowledge that any Australian actor would be privileged to learn from. We’re so proud to offer this very special course that empowers, educates and inspires actors to nail their next audition and/or role on set.

WHY SET-IQUETTE?

With multiple scenes shot per day, multi-camera setups, script revisions and scene changes coming in the night before shooting, and highly emotional scenes with lots of dialogue and time for only one or takes – a TV actor needs to be efficient, adaptable, organised, highly creative and able to access vulnerability quickly. Kym will also be adding a session where you will shoot outside of the classroom and introducing walk and talks and allowing the students to get experience with camera equipment and sound etc. This course will prepare you for Television roles like Home & Away, serial dramas, and nearly all series on Streaming services that run to a similar schedule.

Suitable for Beginner & Intermediate actors, you will be guided by the warm and wonderful Kym Valentine who will help deepen your craft of acting, while preparing you for the reality of being on-set (with tips, shortcuts, and practical lessons derived from Kym’s decades of experience).

You will leave with the confidence to nail that audition, produce a successful appearance and increase your chances of being hired again for future work.
