This five-week course is simple, practical, informative and essential to the beginner. Conducted by one of Australia’s most experienced and respected actors, Mick Preston. Mick trained with the esteemed Uta Hagen in New York who also taught actors like: Matthew Broderick, Sigourney Weaver, Liza Minnelli, Whoopi Goldberg, Jack Lemmon, and Al Pacino. ⁠ Mick has experience acting in New York, LA and Australia where he has worked on shows like AMC’s 'Preacher’, ‘Shantaram’ with Charlie Hunnam and Feature Films like ‘the Legend of Ben Hall’. Whether you've had some experience in the theatre, have done background work, or are completely new to acting, this course will endow you with a comprehensive, complete understanding of the screen acting process, while working entirely on camera. In Intro to Acting you will learn the key foundational elements of acting. Unlike other schools, our beginners course focusses on working in front of the camera, building confidence, skill and artistry on the road the screen mastery.
