"A beautiful film about the slow catastrophe." - Aftenposten

Immerse yourself in Arctic life with acclaimed wildlife filmmaker, Asgeir Helgestad, as he captures the triumphs and traumas of life as a polar bear in the age of human-inflicted climate change.

Following Frost and her cubs over four yeas, this film revels in the beauty of Svaldbard, a glacier-covered archipelago between Norway and the North Pole, while also highlighting the devastation caused by climate change, which is forcing polar bears to search further afield for food, with disastrous consequences.

QUEEN WITHOUT LAND is at once a celebration of the Arctic's ecosystem, and a confrontation of its fight for survival as climate change brutalises the region.

This film screens as part of the 2019 Environmental Film Festival Australia (EFFA).
