HOME is where the art is.
Visual arts and powerful storytelling collide in this virtual exhibition celebrating the work of artists with a refugee or asylum seeker background living in Australia.
Artwork created by refugees and asylum seekers will be showcased as part of the annual HOME Exhibition. This national arts program, curated by the City of Greater Dandenong, celebrates the work of six artists from across Australia. The artists are Dr Dacchi Dang (NSW), Elham Eshraghian (WA), Humira Fayazi (VIC), Mastaneh Azarnia (VIC), Mirela Cufurovic (NSW) and Saidin Salkic (VIC).
For the first time in its six-year history HOME 2020 will be a virtual exhibition brought to you in July and August. The exhibition's public programs and special events will also be presented online, including a Q&A session with National Gallery of Victoria's senior curator Simon Maidment.
