The Victorian Student Animation Festival
The VSAF is organized by the Holmesglen Institute of TAFE as an opportunity for Victorian students to screen their films to a large audience. The Holmesglen institute offers its own Advanced Diploma of Animation but the festival is open to all Victorian students.
On the night seventeen finalist films are screened to an audience including friends, potential employers and members of the general public. Awards are for, Best Film, Best Original Story, Audience Favourite, Best Production Design and Best Animation. Last years festival attracted an audience of almost 200 people at ACMI in Federation Square.
