Figures released for the year’s viewing show local content, both drama and factual, standing tall amongst the most-watched episodes of the year.

Out of TVNZ, TV2’s viewing figures put five NZ shows in the top ten most-viewed episodes, with Shortland Street topping the heap with 623,00. The Mentalist and Two and a Half Men were the channel’s best performing overseas shows, peaking at 587,000 and 560,000 respectively.
