The world’s newest addition to the film festival calendar, Thailand’s Hua Hin Festival, opens tomorrow, closes on Sunday and crams some 60 titles into its inaugural four day edition.
The festival is committed to providing a showcase for Thai, ASEAN and Asian films, in that order, although the highest profile of its titles is English language and about, rather than from, the region: Luc Besson’s Aung San Su Kyi biopic The Lady, which will receive an invitation-only screening with the director in attendance.
