Montreal’s Fantasia presented Danish director Mikkel Nørgaard’s Clown its top award, but also awarded several Asian films currently or recently screening here.

Redline, which screened here as part of Madman’s 2010 Animé festival, took Fantasia’s gold audience award for best animated feature. Two current NZFF films, Miike Takashi’s Thirteen Assassins and Sono Sion’s Cold Fish, tied for the gold audience award for best Asian feature.
