Filmmaker Patrick Mureithi recently appeared in Kenya to promote his latest work, a documentary titled Kenya: Until Hope is Found. Echoing the peaceful sentiments of the film, Mureithi spoke out about Kenya’s future, and came out in full support of the ‘tapping technique’ as a way of helping traumatised Kenyans deal with the aftermath of the 2007/2008 violence.

‘In a country where there is one psychiatrist for every half a million people and the average Kenyan cannot afford a basic counsellor that is 2000 KES or 17 euros, you need to introduce these alternative modalities of healing,’ Mureithi told RFI.
