Two of regional Victoria’s youngest arts managers recently turned their ideas into reality by launching the Backyard Cinema Film Festival on Saturday Feb 16 at Civic Park in Warragul. Sarah Guganovic (18) from Newborough and Ele Mason-Sakkas (21) from Mallacoota developed the Backyard Cinema Film Festival concept in Regional Arts Victoria’s inaugural Creative Leadership program last year.

The program gives outstanding young arts managers in the making a unique professional development opportunity in Melbourne, learning from industry leaders and spending time at the state’s pre-eminent arts institutions.
