Chinese avatars take over CACSA

This is the first major presentation of internationally acclaimed artist Cao Fei’s works in Australia; a survey exhibition that spans the years 2004 – 2013 with eight large-scale video works.

Presented at Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia (CACSA) as part of OzAsia Festival, Beijing-based Cao Fei is a native of the manufacturing metropolis of the south, Guangzhou (b.1978), and is today acknowledged as one of the key artists of a new generation from mainland China.
